The automated poker table uses 12 x86 based PCs and runs under Linux with 2.6 kernel.

All computers communite through an internal TCP/IP network.

The roles of the computers are as follows:

• Server - runs the poker server software, database with all players and game related data, contols the table screen and plays  game sounds.
• Player's seat - 10 touchscreen  PCs placed around the table screen. These are the computers the players play on.
• Administrative console - this computer is used by the attendants to manage players accounts, set game parameters, manage the table state and create reports. Some of the service/support functions (such as restart or calibration of a player's seat) are also performed on the management station. For more details see "Administrative Console description"
